The Alienware Curve is a curved gaming monitor designed to simulate peripheral vision that has made its debut at CES 2008.
The curvature of the screen mimics peripheral vision. It is made of four different monitors that are supposed to be seamless, although you can see the seams between this monitor's four segments, Alienware assures that the flaw will be gone by the time this prototype hits the market.
A doublewide curved DLP display with LED illumination, the Alienware Curve displays a resolution of 2880x900, is well over three feet wide and has a .02ms response time, which makes it perfect for gaming.
Price is yet to be determined, but being a DLP display, expect it to be high.
